Welcome to Canarias!
We’re genuinely happy you’re here. This is your digital town square to meet people, ask questions, share plans, and see what’s happening across the islands.
Get started in 3 easy steps (easier than ordering a cortado)
1) Make your profile yours
Add a photo (or an avatar if you’re shy) and tell us what you’re into: hobbies, projects, which island you vibe with most…
Icebreaker question: What’s one thing you’d like people to ask you about?
Classic Canarias answers: your favorite hike, your go-to guachinche, or how you survive calima season.
2) Explore the community, no pressure
Browse the conversations. If something helps, interests you, or makes you smile, hit the
(Like button). Good vibes are real currency here.
3) Jump in: comment, ask, share
No need to write a thesis. One sentence, a recommendation, a question, it all counts.
Before starting a new topic, take a quick look at the Community Guidelines so this stays friendly and useful (and doesn’t turn into a chaotic group chat).
Optional first-post mini mission (fun, not mandatory)
When you introduce yourself, tell us:
-
Which island you’re on (or which one’s calling you)
-
Beach, mountains, or city?
-
One “hidden gem” you’d recommend (without over-sharing and turning it into a tourist stampede)
Need help or have an idea?
Ask in Help / Suggestions or message the admins. If something’s broken, we’ll fix it. If something’s brilliant, we’ll shamelessly copy it and improve it.
Welcome to the community. Make yourself at home: this is a place to share, not to endure noise.
