Health and life energy in practice: home cultivation of grasses

Growing grass is really simple.

We start by soaking barley or wheat grains in a jar, in cold water, for 10–12 hours.
Then we drain the water, rinse the seeds, and leave them to sprout for about 36 hours. During this time, we rinse them with water every 8–10 hours.

The next step is to sow the sprouts on a tray with soil (a layer of about 3–4 cm), spray with water, and cover the whole thing with a second tray. For the next 48 hours, the sprouts need some shade and slightly “greenhouse” conditions (hence the cover). We spray with water in the morning and evening (i.e., every 12 hours).

After two days, the little grasses no longer need to be covered because they are already slightly rooted. Since they grew in the shade, they are yellow. Now they need some light (direct sun is not necessary) to gain color :slightly_smiling_face:
At this stage, we only spray with water once a day.

The next day they turn green, and after 5 days we can cut them and juice them immediately, because “Life Energy” lasts in them for 15–20 minutes after cutting… but that’s for another time

If you are growing more than one tray, you can safely harvest even between the 10th and 14th day. The grasses will be a bit longer and may lie down slightly, but they won’t break. After all, they are grasses, and possibly some of the strongest plants on our planet!
